Glass Table Covers

Some tables or furniture, whether it's outdoor or indoor, just need a glass cover to sit on top to protect them from scratches, stains, or the weather. Covering furniture with glass has many benefits, but first of all, you can see the beauty of the table underneath. Glass covers create smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces for textured tables like wicker or stone, and they are sturdy, offering protection from any damage or glass rings. For outdoor usage, we recommend tempered glass, as it doesn't shatter into dangerous shards when broken. Our glass table tops are perfect for DIYers who want to create tables out of... well, anything!

Tabletops That Fit in a Frame

These kinds of tables can be tricky. If you need tabletop replacements for inside a metal frame, the frame cannot be bent in any way, or it will be very hard to measure. Straighten the frame before you measure it. And the glass must be cut to fit inside the frame exactly.
We will fabricate the glass exactly to the dimensions you provide with a +/- 1/8" cutting tolerance. During our customization process, you can choose an umbrella hole, different edge, and corner styles or choose a unique textured glass like opaque-clear glass or polar glass to suit your decor. The options are endless and we are to make it perfect for you!

Rounded Rect

Corner Finishes for Square and Rectangle Glass Tables

For square and rectangle table tops, you have the additional consideration of what type of corner finish you would like. Below are the three corner finishes we offer.

image
Eased Corner

Our most popular corner option. The edges of the glass are carefully sanded and smoothed to create a slightly rounded, chamfered, or softened appearance. They not only enhance the safety aspect but also add a touch of elegance to the overall design.

image
Radius Corner

A radius corner can be used when covering a table that has similar corners, or when the glass is on a pedestal. The edges of the glass are precisely shaped to create a smooth, curved corner with a consistent and defined radius. This radius can be customized according to the desired size and design preferences.

image
Clipped Corner

The sharp corners of the glass are carefully cut or "clipped" at a 45-degree angle, resulting in a corner with a beveled appearance. The clipped corner creates a small flat surface at the corner, followed by a beveled edge that extends from the flat surface to the rest of the glass. You can customize the clip measurement and choose which corners you would like to have clipped.

Tempered Glass

It’s best to choose tempered glass for any kind of glass table top. Tempering means that the glass has been heat treated and cooled for extra durability. If a tempered glass table top is struck or broken, it will shatter into small, harmless pieces rather than large, sharp shards of glass. For a glass table cover, you wouldn't really need to choose tempered glass, but it does add an extra layer of safety in case you were to drop something on your table.

Rounded Rect

Glass Edge Finishes

How you are going to use your glass table top will dictate the glass edge finishes that you use. Also, your edges will look slightly different on round table tops and square or rectangle tops, and even a little different depending on the corners that you choose. Below are some of the most common edge types.

image
Beveled Edge

Beveled edges are finished to be thinner at the edges. You can choose the width of the bevel you want when you are customizing your glass.

image
Flat Polished Edge

Flat polished edges are ground down to be smooth and safe for you to use anywhere. Works well when glass is inset in a frame.

image
Pencil Polished Edge

Pencil polished edges are rounded for safety and a beautiful look. Looks especially nice when used as a surface protector or glass table cover.

image
Seamed Edge

A seamed edge is sanded off lightly for when you need minimal finishing. Choose this type when you won’t see the edges of the glass.
