1. Installed Product Warranties
Custom Glass Shower Doors
(Measured, Fabricated & Installed by Dulles Glass)
- Warranty Period: Three (3) years from the date of installation.
- Coverage: Defects in materials or workmanship, including glass, hardware, caulking, leaks, squeaks, or sagging.
- Exclusions:
- Mold or mildew from improper cleaning
- Damage, scratches, or breakage after installation
- Misuse, poor maintenance, or abrasive cleaners
- Mold or mildew from improper cleaning
- Repairs: Warranty repairs do not extend the original term but carry a 90-day service warranty.
After the warranty expires, replacement of sweeps, seals, and caulking is considered routine maintenance. Replacement parts are available directly from Dulles Glass.
Mirrors
(Installed by Dulles Glass)
- Warranty Period: One (1) year from installation.
- Coverage: Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Exclusions: Breakage from structure settling, installation in wet areas, misuse, alteration, or harsh cleaners.
Gym Mirrors (Custom or Kit)
- Warranty Period: One (1) year from purchase.
- Coverage: Defects in materials or workmanship.
- Safety Note: Safety backing is available and strongly recommended for secure installation.
- Exclusions: Damage from misuse, humidity, or chemical exposure.
Frameless Bathtub Screen Doors
- Warranty Period: One (1) year from purchase.
- Coverage: Faulty glass or hardware due to manufacturing or installation defects.
- Exclusions: Refer to General Terms & Limitations below.
2. Boxed & Pre-Made Shower Doors
- Warranty Period: One (1) year limited warranty on glass and hardware under normal use and proper installation.
- Coverage: Manufacturing defects and hardware failures.
- Exclusions:
- Incorrect or DIY installation
- Mishandling or improper cleaning
- Scratches, water exposure, or misuse
- Incorrect or DIY installation
Note on Door Width: For pre-made units, the clear door opening may be less than 22″ if the overall opening is under 47″. Building code requires a minimum 22″ clear opening - confirm compliance before purchase or installation.
3. Online Orders & DIY / Pick-Up Products
- Warranty: No warranty is offered for stock or custom glass purchased online.
However, our Guaranteed Intact Delivery ensures your glass or mirror arrives in one piece and within a 1/8″ fabrication tolerance
- DIY Orders: Fabrication is based on customer-provided measurements. Industry-standard deductions apply where appropriate.
Once cut sheets are reviewed and signed, the order is final - no returns or changes after approval.
4. ClearShield Glass Protection
- Warranty Period: Three (3) years through Dulles Glass + seven (7) years directly with ClearShield (total ten years).
- Coverage: Surface protection performance under normal use.
- Process:
- Years 1–3: Handled by Dulles Glass
- Years 4–10: Managed by ClearShield under their extended warranty
- Years 1–3: Handled by Dulles Glass
5. General Terms & Limitations
Our warranties protect against manufacturing and workmanship defects under normal residential use.
Term | Description |
| Original Purchaser | Warranty applies only to the original purchaser; it is non-transferable and terminates upon sale of the property. |
| Proof of Ownership | Required for all warranty claims. |
| Exclusions | Damage from misuse, accidents, natural disasters, or third-party installation. |
| Cleaning & Maintenance | Use only non-abrasive cleaners; harsh chemicals void the warranty. |
| Water & Mold Damage | Mold, mildew, or staining from water chemistry or poor maintenance is not covered. |
| Limitation of Liability | Dulles Glass’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product’s original value. No incidental or consequential damages are covered. |
6. Making a Warranty Claim

A Dulles Glass representative will review your claim and determine the appropriate remedy under coverage.
