Job Description
The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable data platforms. We’re looking for someone with experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science and data products. They must have strong, firsthand technical expertise in a variety of configuration management and big data technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust scalable solutions that can manage large data sets. They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design and development of new Systems, Applications & Products (SAP).
- Utilize SAP FIORI/UI5/OData expertise to assist in implementing Fiori applications. Assist in design and integration of SAP ERP with existing shower enclosure module, shower configurator, third party cutting optimizations application and sales channels as well as support/integration with purchased applications, data file conversions, reporting, and application enhancements.
- Perform other related duties.
- Responsible for manufacturing process engineering of the factory.
- Lead the development and organization of production operations by developing a successful workflow, adapt to changing conditions and develop or find new equipment, software, hardware, procedures and policies to increase efficiency in all fabrication operations.
- Responsible for the maintenance department and all of its scheduling, training and planning which supports the factory. Perform other related duties. Responsible for production planning and production process relative to glass fabrication machines and equipment.
- Perform analysis and upgrade of electronic equipment.
- Optimize production flow and line efficiency by improving tools, machine parts, and work methods. Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, parts, and work methods.
- Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, software engineering to manufacturing process and production process.
Requirements & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 2 years of experience must include the following skills which are quantified as follows and may be acquired concurrently: 2 years of experience with configuration and implementation of ERP systems and applications such as SAP ERP, integration between SAP ERP and external applications using ABAP SAP programing language; standard SAP transactions using user-exits, BADIs, enhancement framework, EDI implementation and configuration within ERP systems, SAP UI Theme Designer and SAP Web IDE, Fiori implementation using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and SAP NetWeaver Gateway; 2 years of experience working with C# and.Net programming languages utilizing MVC framework and interface protocols such as SOAP/WSDL, REST, XML, XSLT, WSDL, JSON and OData.
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.
- 24 months of experience in electronic engineering, manufacturing process engineering or related jobs required.
- Must have the following: full understanding of glass factory processes, equipment and workflow. Knowledge of glass fabrication and processes, electrical, electronic, software and information technology relating to electronic equipment. Knowledge of operational programming and maintenance procedures for glass fabrication machines.
