Is the 34"×76" Tela right for you?
The Tela DIY kit is the same fixed glass shower screen as our installed builds - a single panel of 3/8" tempered glass with no door, no rollers, and no hinges. It mounts to the wall with a discreet U-channel and braces back to the wall with a support bar, so it simply blocks the line of water travel on a walk-in or curbless shower where a swinging door is not needed. Same 3/8" tempered glass and same hardware spec as our installed Tela - you just handle the install in 2-4 hours with a helper and save the install premium. With no moving parts it is the simplest install in the lineup and has the fewest long-term failure points. Need an enclosure with a door you open and close? A hinged or sliding model is the better fit - the Tela is a fixed splash guard, not a full enclosure.

DIY install — what to expect
Most homeowners install the Tela in 2-4 hours with a helper - it is the simplest install in our lineup because there is no door to hang, no rollers, and no hinges to align. The panel mounts in a wall U-channel and braces back to the wall with the support bar, so once it is set, it stays put. The kit includes a printed step-by-step guide and a QR-code install video - and free phone/text/video support if anything looks off. Plan for two people: the trickiest step is lifting the glass panel into place.

Mount the wall channel / U-bracket
Mark and drill the U-channel to the studs or solid blocking using the included template; shim behind it if the wall is out of plumb.

Set the fixed glass panel into the channel
With a helper, lift the panel and seat it into the wall channel. Add the optional floor pin if your panel is a taller size.

Brace it with the support bar
Run the support bar from the top of the panel back to the wall and anchor it so the fixed glass stays rigid.

Level, shim, and seal
Confirm the panel is plumb, run the vinyl seals, silicone the wall joint, and let it cure 24 hours before the first shower.

The 34"×76" Tela kit is sized for openings within typical wall variation. This SKU fits wall openings from 34" × 76" (fixed panel, no adjustment range) (per May 2026 catalog). Measure your opening width at three heights (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest value. A 1/4 inch variation top to bottom is common and the kit's adjustability covers it.
Which finish should I choose?
Chrome is the most universal and pairs with most fixtures. Brushed Nickel hides water spots and pairs with warm-tone bathrooms. Matte Black suits modern/industrial designs.
