Good Fit
The Eclipse DIY kit is the same frameless bypass sliding shower door as our installed builds - two independently sliding glass panels on a top header track, so you can step in from either side. Because both panels move, Eclipse is the configuration built for wider openings where a single slider would block half the entry. Same 3/8" tempered glass, same stainless-steel hardware, same factory nano-coating - you just handle the install in 2-4 hours with a helper and save the install premium. Narrower opening (44-60" wide)? Metro - our single slider with one fixed and one moving panel - may be the simpler fit.
Your opening is roughly 60 inches and up, where a single slider would block half the entry.
You want dual entry - showerhead on one end, a bench or shelf on the other.
You want a clean, frameless two-panel glass line, and you're comfortable with a two-person, 2-4 hour install - or want to save on labor.

Install Notes
Most homeowners install the Eclipse in 2-4 hours with a helper. Eclipse uses a bypass layout - two independently sliding panels on a top stainless-steel header track, each carried by its own pair of adjustable stainless rollers. The rollers are adjustable, so the panels can be trued after mounting. The kit includes a printed step-by-step guide and a QR-code install video - and free phone/text/video support if anything looks off. Plan for two people: the trickiest step is lifting the glass panels onto the track.
Anchor the stainless top header track and the bottom guide to the studs or substrate using the included template. Get the track parallel and level - bypass sliders depend on it.
Lift each glass panel and seat it on its pair of adjustable stainless rollers on the header track - this is the two-person step.
Fine-tune the rollers so both panels hang plumb, clear one another on the bypass, and slide smoothly end to end.
Install the vinyl edge seals and bottom sweep, silicone the wall joints, and let it cure 24 hours before the first shower.

1-Year Warranty
3-Year Warranty
Plastic seals and door sweeps are wear items on both DIY and professional installs (1-year coverage) - a yearly look-over keeps water where it belongs. Damage from improper installation (over-torqued hardware, wrong anchors) isn't covered - our free DIY support line helps you avoid it.
Compare Models

Q&A
The 60"×64" Eclipse kit is sized for openings within typical wall variation. This SKU fits wall openings from 56" to 60" (per May 2026 catalog). Measure your opening width at three heights (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest value. A 1/4 inch variation top to bottom is common and the kit's adjustability covers it.
Chrome is the most universal and pairs with most fixtures. Brushed Nickel hides water spots and pairs with warm-tone bathrooms. Matte Black suits modern/industrial designs. Satin Brass adds warmth and develops a subtle patina over years. Click any finish card above to see that specific variant's page with the full configurator.
This Eclipse kit uses 3/8" tempered clear glass — meets ANSI Z97.1 safety standards.
For sizes outside our in-stock Eclipse options, we fabricate custom shower doors to your exact opening — typically 5 to 7 business days. Click "Continue to Customizer" on any finish page to start a custom build.
4-foot level, tape measure, drill (carbide masonry bit for tile), Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, silicone caulk gun, painter's tape, rubber mallet, and a helper for the glass-setting step. All anchors, screws, and seals are in the kit.

The kit ships in 2 boxes — one foam-padded crate for the glass panels (~85 lbs total for 60"×64") and one for hardware. The longer box is roughly 78 inches and fits through a standard door.

DIY 60"×64" Eclipse saves roughly $400 to $700 vs professional install. You're trading 2 to 4 hours of your time for that savings. Pro install includes measurement, fabrication-to-fit, in-home installation, and a 3-year parts+labor warranty (vs 1-year DIY hardware-only).
DIY-installed Eclipse kits include a 1-year warranty on glass, hardware, seals, and finish under normal use. Manufacturing defects are covered. Damage from improper install or wrong anchor type is not — call our DIY support line if you have questions before drilling.
Live phone, text, and video support 8am-5pm ET, 7 days a week. Step-by-step install video referenced on the printed instructions (QR code) and on our YouTube channel. Best to call before drilling permanent holes if anything is unclear.
