Good Fit

Is the 60"×64" Luna right for you?

The Luna DIY kit is the same fully-frameless bypass slider as our installed builds - two 3/8" tempered glass panels gliding on an exposed roller-bar header, with no framing around the glass and no wall jambs. The barn-door-style top bar is the feature, and dual towel bars come standard, one on each panel. Same glass, same finish-coated aluminum hardware, same factory nano-coating - you just handle the install in 2-4 hours with a helper and save the install premium. Want the same bypass at a value price? Sero is the semi-frameless sibling.

Standard tub enclosures

You want the roller-bar header on display - a design-led, modern primary bath where the hardware is the statement.

Over-the-tub installs

Your alcove or tub opening wants one uninterrupted, fully frameless line of glass with dual towel bars.

Builder-grade upgrades

You want a Satin Brass option on a frameless bypass - Luna offers all four finishes.

Install Notes

DIY install — what to expect

Luna is a fully frameless bypass - two 3/8" glass panels glide on an exposed aluminum roller-bar header, with no framed channel and no bottom rail. Most homeowners install it in 2-4 hours with a helper. The rollers are adjustable, so the glide can be trued after the header is mounted. The kit includes a printed step-by-step guide and a QR-code install video - and free phone/text/video support if anything looks off. Plan for two people: the trickiest step is lifting each panel onto the roller bar.

  1. 1

Mount the roller-bar header and bottom guide

Level and anchor the top roller-bar bracket to the studs or substrate, then set the bottom guide on the curb or floor using the included template.

  2. 2

Hang both panels on the roller bar

Lift each 3/8" glass panel and seat its rollers onto the exposed header so the two panels bypass each other freely.

  3. 3

    Adjust the glide and clearance

Fine-tune the roller height so both panels hang plumb, slide with one-finger pressure, and clear the bottom guide evenly.

  4. 4

    Attach the dual towel bars

Fit the full-width towel bar onto each sliding panel and snug the through-glass fittings - one bar per panel, standard on Luna.

  5. 5

    Seal and cure

Run the vertical seals and bottom sweep, silicone the wall joints, and let it cure 24 hours before the first shower.

Compare to Sero

Luna vs. Sero

Luna and Sero are both 3/8 inch bypass sliders with dual towel bars. The difference is framing: Luna is fully frameless with an exposed roller-bar header; Sero is semi-frameless with minimal framing and included wall jambs that help on out-of-plumb walls. Luna also adds a Satin Brass finish - four to Sero's three.

Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Luna 60"×64" fit my bathtub opening?

The 60"×64" Luna kit is sized for openings within typical wall variation. This SKU fits wall openings from 56" to 60" (matches catalog-listed siblings in this SKU size). Measure your opening width at three heights (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest value. A 1/4 inch variation top to bottom is common and the kit's adjustability covers it.

Which finish should I choose?

Chrome is the most universal and pairs with most fixtures. Brushed Nickel hides water spots and pairs with warm-tone bathrooms. Matte Black suits modern/industrial designs. Satin Brass adds warmth and develops a subtle patina over years. Click any finish card above to see that specific variant's page with the full configurator.

What thickness glass does the Luna 60"×64" use?

This Luna kit uses 3/8" tempered clear glass — meets ANSI Z97.1 safety standards.

What if I need a different Luna size?

Luna ships in-stock sizes only. If you need a size outside the available range, check our Metro, Eclipse, Solo, or Prima models — those support advanced customization for any opening within their tolerance range.

What tools do I need to install the 60"×64" Luna?

4-foot level, tape measure, drill (carbide masonry bit for tile), Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, silicone caulk gun, painter's tape, rubber mallet, and a helper for the glass-setting step. All anchors, screws, and seals are in the kit.

How long does Luna 60"×64" take to ship and install?

In stock — ships within 2 business days from our U.S. warehouses. Free pickup at either location, $95 local delivery within 30 miles, or $300 flat nationwide shipping to the lower 48. Most kits arrive within 5 to 7 business days. DIY install takes 2 to 4 hours with a helper. Plan 24 hours of silicone cure time before the first shower.

How is the Luna 60"×64" kit packaged?

The kit ships in 2 boxes — one foam-padded crate for the glass panels (~85 lbs total for 60"×64") and one for hardware. The longer box is roughly 78 inches and fits through a standard door.

Do you ship to all 50 states?

Yes — standard ground shipping to all 48 contiguous states is $300 flat per enclosure. Free pickup also available at our U.S. warehouses, or $95 local delivery within 30 miles of either warehouse. Alaska and Hawaii are available with a freight surcharge; contact us for a quote.

Is glass type an upcharge?

Clear is the standard glass at the listed price. HD Low-Iron, Gray, Bronze, Rain, and Frosted glass each carry different upcharges depending on size. Selecting a glass type updates the price live at checkout.

How does DIY pricing compare to professional install?

DIY 60"×64" Luna saves roughly $400 to $700 vs professional install. You're trading 2 to 4 hours of your time for that savings. Pro install includes measurement, fabrication-to-fit, in-home installation, and a 3-year parts+labor warranty (vs 1-year DIY hardware-only).

What warranty comes with the Luna kit?

DIY-installed Luna kits include a 1-year warranty on glass, hardware, seals, and finish under normal use. Manufacturing defects are covered. Damage from improper install or wrong anchor type is not — call our DIY support line if you have questions before drilling.

Where can I find install help for the Luna 60"×64"?

Live phone, text, and video support 8am-5pm ET, 7 days a week. Step-by-step install video referenced on the printed instructions (QR code) and on our YouTube channel. Best to call before drilling permanent holes if anything is unclear.
