Good Fit

Is the 60"×76" Sero right for you?

The Sero DIY kit is the same semi-frameless bypass slider as our installed builds - two sliding glass panels that pass each other on a slim top-and-bottom rail, with minimal framing on the glass and included wall jambs. Because both panels move, the entry is never blocked by a fixed wall of glass, which makes Sero the value pick in the sliding family for standard alcove and tub openings. Same 3/8" tempered glass and same finish-coated aluminum hardware - you just handle the install in 2-4 hours with a helper and save the install premium. Sero ships in stock sizes only. Want a 1/4" glass option in the same bypass layout? Mona may be the better fit.

Larger tub-to-shower conversions

Your opening matches one of the three stocked Sero sizes - the lowest-cost sliding path.

Curbless wet rooms (with planning)

It is a budget renovation, guest bath, or rental-property turnover where value matters.

Builder-grade upgrades

The opening is slightly out of plumb - the included wall jambs help true it.

Install Notes

DIY install — what to expect

Most homeowners install the Sero in 2-4 hours with a helper. Sero squares to the wall jambs rather than relying on adjustable rollers, which makes it forgiving on out-of-plumb openings - the rollers are pre-set and glide quietly with no adjustment. The kit includes a printed step-by-step guide and a QR-code install video, plus free phone/text/video support if anything looks off. Plan for two people: the trickiest step is lifting the glass panels onto the rails.

  1. 1

Mount the top and bottom rails

Anchor the wall jambs, then level and fix the slim top header rail and bottom track to the studs or substrate using the included template.

  2. 2

Hang both bypass panels on the rollers

Lift each sliding panel onto its roller assembly at the top rail and seat it into the bottom track so the two panels pass each other cleanly.

  3. 3

    Adjust glide and clearance

Check that both panels roll smoothly and the overlap is even, then attach the dual towel bars. Fine-tune the bottom guides so the glide stays quiet.

  4. 4

Run seals, sweep, silicone, and cure

Fit the vinyl vertical seals and bottom sweep, silicone the jamb-to-wall joints, and let it cure 24 hours before the first shower.

Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Sero 60"×76" fit my shower opening?

The 60"×76" Sero kit is sized for openings within typical wall variation. This SKU fits wall openings from 56" to 60" (per May 2026 catalog). Measure your opening width at three heights (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest value. A 1/4 inch variation top to bottom is common and the kit's adjustability covers it.

Which finish should I choose?

Chrome is the most universal and pairs with most fixtures. Brushed Nickel hides water spots and pairs with warm-tone bathrooms. Matte Black suits modern/industrial designs. Click any finish card above to see that specific variant's page with the full configurator.

What thickness glass does the Sero 60"×76" use?

This Sero kit uses 3/8" tempered clear glass — meets ANSI Z97.1 safety standards.

What if I need a different Sero size?

Sero ships in-stock sizes only. If you need a size outside the available range, check our Metro, Eclipse, Solo, or Prima models — those support advanced customization for any opening within their tolerance range.

What tools do I need to install the 60"×76" Sero?

4-foot level, tape measure, drill (carbide masonry bit for tile), Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, silicone caulk gun, painter's tape, rubber mallet, and a helper for the glass-setting step. All anchors, screws, and seals are in the kit.

How long does Sero 60"×76" take to ship and install?

In stock — ships within 2 business days from our U.S. warehouses. Free pickup at either location, $95 local delivery within 30 miles, or $300 flat nationwide shipping to the lower 48. Most kits arrive within 5 to 7 business days. DIY install takes 2 to 4 hours with a helper. Plan 24 hours of silicone cure time before the first shower.

How is the Sero 60"×76" kit packaged?

The kit ships in 2 boxes — one foam-padded crate for the glass panels (~85 lbs total for 60"×76") and one for hardware. The longer box is roughly 78 inches and fits through a standard door.

Do you ship to all 50 states?

Yes — standard ground shipping to all 48 contiguous states is $300 flat per enclosure. Free pickup also available at our U.S. warehouses, or $95 local delivery within 30 miles of either warehouse. Alaska and Hawaii are available with a freight surcharge; contact us for a quote.

Is glass type an upcharge?

Clear is the standard glass at the listed price. HD Low-Iron, Gray, Bronze, Rain, and Frosted glass each carry different upcharges depending on size. Selecting a glass type updates the price live at checkout.

How does DIY pricing compare to professional install?

DIY 60"×76" Sero saves roughly $400 to $700 vs professional install. You're trading 2 to 4 hours of your time for that savings. Pro install includes measurement, fabrication-to-fit, in-home installation, and a 3-year parts+labor warranty (vs 1-year DIY hardware-only).

What warranty comes with the Sero kit?

DIY-installed Sero kits include a 1-year warranty on glass, hardware, seals, and finish under normal use. Manufacturing defects are covered. Damage from improper install or wrong anchor type is not — call our DIY support line if you have questions before drilling.

Where can I find install help for the Sero 60"×76"?

Live phone, text, and video support 8am-5pm ET, 7 days a week. Step-by-step install video referenced on the printed instructions (QR code) and on our YouTube channel. Best to call before drilling permanent holes if anything is unclear.
