Good Fit
The Vera DIY kit is the same value-tier framed bypass slider as our installed builds - two 1/4" tempered glass panels that ride past each other inside a complete aluminum surround (top rail, bottom threshold, and side frames), with dual towel bars standard. It's the budget pick in our sliding lineup: the full frame and threshold make Vera the most forgiving slider on out-of-square or older openings, and the lighter 1/4" glass is easy to lift for a two-person install. Same glass and hardware as the installed version - you just handle the install in 2-4 hours with a helper and save the install premium. Want less framing or a glass-thickness choice? Mona trades up to semi-frameless and offers both 1/4" and 3/8" glass.
You're outfitting an apartment renovation, rental turnover, or a tight-budget bathroom refresh.
Your opening is older or out of square - the full frame and threshold absorb the variation.
You would rather have lighter, easier-to-handle 1/4" glass than pay up for a frameless look.

Install Notes
Most homeowners install the Vera in 2-4 hours with a helper. As a fully framed bypass slider, Vera goes up framed-first: you build the aluminum surround, then drop the rollers and glass into the tracks - one of the more forgiving sliders to install because the frame squares the opening for you. The kit includes a printed step-by-step guide and a QR-code install video - and free phone/text/video support if anything looks off. Plan for two people: the trickiest step is lifting the panels onto the rollers.
Set the bottom threshold track level on the curb, then mount the top header rail plumb above it using the included template.
Anchor the side frames into the walls so the full aluminum surround is square and tight to the opening.
Lift each sliding panel onto its rollers in the top track and seat it into the bottom guide - this is the two-person step.
Fine-tune the rollers so both panels slide smoothly and the edges line up evenly with the frame.
Run the vinyl edge seals and bottom sweep, silicone the frame-to-wall joints, and let it cure 24 hours before the first shower.

1-Year Warranty
1-Year Warranty
Plastic seals and door sweeps are wear items (1-year coverage) - a yearly look-over keeps water where it belongs. Damage from improper installation (over-torqued hardware, wrong anchors) isn't covered - our free DIY support line helps you avoid it.
Compare to Mona
Vera is a fully framed bypass - top rail, bottom threshold, and side frames around 1/4 inch glass. Mona is semi-frameless with removable side jambs and offers both 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch glass. Vera is the simplest, lowest-price slider; Mona trades up to less framing and a glass-thickness choice.

Q&A
The 60"×76" Vera kit is sized for openings within typical wall variation. This SKU fits wall openings from 56" to 60" (matches catalog-listed siblings in this SKU size). Measure your opening width at three heights (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest value. A 1/4 inch variation top to bottom is common and the kit's adjustability covers it.
Chrome is the most universal and pairs with most fixtures. Brushed Nickel hides water spots and pairs with warm-tone bathrooms. Matte Black suits modern/industrial designs. Click any finish card above to see that specific variant's page with the full configurator.
This Vera kit uses 1/4" tempered clear glass — meets ANSI Z97.1 safety standards.
Vera ships in-stock sizes only. If you need a size outside the available range, check our Metro, Eclipse, Solo, or Prima models — those support advanced customization for any opening within their tolerance range.
4-foot level, tape measure, drill (carbide masonry bit for tile), Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, silicone caulk gun, painter's tape, rubber mallet, and a helper for the glass-setting step. All anchors, screws, and seals are in the kit.
In stock — ships within 2 business days from our U.S. warehouses. Free pickup at either location, $95 local delivery within 30 miles, or $300 flat nationwide shipping to the lower 48. Most kits arrive within 5 to 7 business days. DIY install takes 2 to 4 hours with a helper. Plan 24 hours of silicone cure time before the first shower.
The kit ships in 2 boxes — one foam-padded crate for the glass panels (~85 lbs total for 60"×76") and one for hardware. The longer box is roughly 78 inches and fits through a standard door.

DIY 60"×76" Vera saves roughly $400 to $700 vs professional install. You're trading 2 to 4 hours of your time for that savings. Pro install includes measurement, fabrication-to-fit, in-home installation, and a 3-year parts+labor warranty (vs 1-year DIY hardware-only).
DIY-installed Vera kits include a 1-year warranty on glass, hardware, seals, and finish under normal use. Manufacturing defects are covered. Damage from improper install or wrong anchor type is not — call our DIY support line if you have questions before drilling.
Live phone, text, and video support 8am-5pm ET, 7 days a week. Step-by-step install video referenced on the printed instructions (QR code) and on our YouTube channel. Best to call before drilling permanent holes if anything is unclear.
